Compliant with the requirements of French legislation on the new energy transition - which aims to limit the consumption of disposable plastic bags - bags for fruits and vegetables are made with the latest generation of MATER-BI and meet the following requirements:
- renewability percentage of over 50%;
- cradle-to-grave greenhouse emissions per kilo of product at least 54% lower than those for traditional plastics;
- composting biodegradability in accordance with standard EN 13432;
- compliance with French standard NF T 51-800 for home composting;
These products can be collected together with organic waste and sent for composting in accordance with legislation in force in various European countries and consistent with the European directive on the reduction of packaging and waste production.
