Novamont North America to be on the bioplastics panel at the UNC Clean Tech Summit
The 7th annual Clean Tech Summit will take place on February 20th and 21st at the University of North Carolina (UNC) Institute for the Environment’s Friday Center.
The event brings together students, academics and business professionals to communicate ideas and provide opportunities for growth to the Southeastern USA’s clean tech economy. It will feature keynote speakers, panels, workshops and Ted Talk-style engagement opportunities. The theme for this year is “Innovating to a Clean Economy”.
Paul Darby, Vice President of Marketing at Novamont North America, will take part at the event, discussing the Novamont bioeconomy model and the role of compostable bioplastics in food scrap recycling. He will be on the biobased plastics panel on Thursday February 20th from 3pm to 4.15pm as part of the circular economy breakout session.
