Novamont North America Sponsors Tour of a Commercial Composter (SET) at Re|Focus Sustainability & Recycling Summit 2023

The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) are holding their annual Re|Focus Sustainability & Recycling Summit this year on May 1st - 3rd in Minneapolis, MN.
 
To help support the summit, Novamont North America are sponsoring the Specialized Environmental Technologies, Inc. (SET) Tour on Wednesday May 3rd, 1.15pm - 4pm CDT.   SET is a commercial composter that accepts BPI-certified compostable bioplastics along with food scraps and yard waste.  Tour participants will see first-hand how these waste feedstocks are turned into environmentally beneficial compost. They will get an up-close look at the equipment in operation and a detailed explanation of the commercial composting process from start to finish. 
 
Bringing together those who make and use plastic, Re|Focus creates a space for approximately 200 attendees to convene around six key themes: innovative materials, advanced recycling, mechanical recycling, environmental conservation, resource efficiency, and brand commitments.
