Wasteinprogress 2023

On 18 and 20 of April take place in Girona wasteinprogress 2023, the International forum for municipal waste management.

Novamont was a partner of wasteinprogress 2023 and was present with a stand to showcase the applications made of Mater-Bi for waste management. Rosa Puig Moré, Marketing Manager at Novamont Iberia, also participated in Innovation Lab, the space where the forum exhibitors have ten minutes to present their offers, services and business news. During her presentation, Puig Moré highlighted that biodegradable and compostable biopolymers such as Mater-Bi are designed to solve specific environmental problems in applications that add value at their end of life.

In these three days, the forum's central theme was to implement new waste-collection systems based on user ID. The focus will be the challenges municipalities face in the short term when implementing these new collection systems, which put the waste generator at the centre.
