ECOMONDO 2021 - Novamont will be present at the fair with several conferences
From 26 to 29 October, Ecomondo, Europe's leading trade fair for industrial and technological innovation in the circular economy, will be held in presence (Rimini Fiera) and in digital format with conventions and conferences.

28 October, 9:35 - 13:00 - Caring for soil is caring for life: soil health policies and innovation
The conference, organized by the Technical and Scientific Committee of Ecomondo, by the Mission Soil Health and Food of the European Commission, by Re Soil Foundation and Coldiretti, will offer an overview on the evolution of strategies and policies related to soil health and will illustrate different case studies of how regenerative agriculture and circular bio-economy, which see the soil as their starting and ending point, represent an essential tool to reverse the course of soil degradation, creating value in the territories. Catia Bastioli, CEO Novamont and Member of the Mission Board for Soil Health and Food of the European Commission, will moderate the meeting and present the European Mission. Sara Guerrini, Agriculture Public Affairs Novamont will be among the speakers of the session.

The event, organized by the Technical Scientific Committee of Ecomondo, Legambiente and University of Siena at Room Diotallevi 1 Hall Sud, will examine successful case studies, experiences and policies to take stock of the situation at European and Mediterranean level on how to deal with marine litter and what tools we have to make aquaculture and fishing more sustainable. The conference, in English with simultaneous Italian translation, will be attended by Flavia Vigoriti, Business Comunication Specialist, Novamont.

At the event, organized by Res4Africa in collaboration with the Technical Scientific Committee of Ecomondo and the Technical Scientific Committee of Key Energy, Andrea Di Stefano, Head of Business Communication and Special Projects at Novamont, will also participate as a speaker to illustrate Italian cooperation priorities and strategies for the implementation of circular economy projects in Africa. The event will be held in English with simultaneous translation into French at Agorà Efficiency (pad. B6).
27 October, 10:00 - 13:00 - European Horizon2020 systemic actions for water-smart circular cities, regions and industries
At Room Global Water Expo (pad. D2) the workshop organized by Ecomondo Scientific Technical Committee and Water Europe will be held in English. The initiative will focus on water as transversal in systemic strategies for circular transition and sustainable development of cities, regions, industries and communities. The workshop will bring together major local and territorial innovative case studies and deliver a platform of experience to promote living lab approaches. During the event the european project Circular Biocarbon, of which Novamont is partner, will be illustrated.
